Access Hollywood and X17.com are confirming the news that 27-year-old Miranda, who went into labour on Thursday morning, gave birth to a son.
And it looks like the A-list couple couldn't be happier, after an X17 photographer allegedly overheard Bloom excitedly talking about 'his son'.
A family member told Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper that the 27-year-old Victoria's Secret model has gone into labour just days after she had a false alarm.
A relative said: 'We did get a text on Boxing Day saying she had gone into labour but it was a false alarm but I can confirm she did go into labour early this morning.
'I have been trying to get in touch with [Kerr's parents] but everyone's phones are going to message bank.'
It has been rumoured the couple are expecting a little boy after Kerr was spotted looking at baby clothes in LA.
The pair confirmed in August that they were expecting a baby together just weeks after they married in July.
It has been a difficult week for Miranda's family - the home of her Australian grandparents was been destroyed by fire after being struck by lightning earlier this week.
She spent much of her childhood visiting the property in Gunnedah, New South Wales, 270 miles north-west of Sydney.
Peter and his wife Anne called the fire brigade before fleeing the property. They then watched as their home became engulfed by flames.
